1. Becoming Human  -- A great website run by the Institute of Human Origin.  It focuses on mostly on the anthropology of early humans and there's a great collection of human fossils, timelines and information

2. The British Museum Website for Ancient Egypt -- I use this all the time with my class.  It's a great website for basic information on ancient Egyptian culture.

3. The Metropolitan Museum of Art -- It's the MET. 'Nuff said.
